Vehicle Detail

For sale is a 1975 450SL triple black - pretty rare. 96,400 Box "A" miles. 4.5L V8 with 230hp. Clean and clear title, no accidents. It has been in storage in AZ for almost a decade and was properly brought back to life at our shop. Gas tank was rebuilt and the whole fuel system flushed. Oils and filters changed, ignition system cleaned. New battery. Started right up after that. Straight 150psi compression on all cylinders. Driven for a while now - drives, shifts and brakes extremely well. Nice paint with some minor scratches / dings. Has the manual AC - much easier to maintain than the vacuum nightmare from the later models (system has freon pressure, but needs refill. Can do that if needed). Tires have profile but are probably due for new. The top is ok, but the plastic windows need replaced. Interior is great besides some rips on the driver's seat back ($150 by saddler - we can have any work done at byuers expense). Comes with sheepskins and dash cover if wanted. Headrests are also there, plus a 6-CD changer with amp and Infinity speakers. Overall a great car for the right collector - my opinion. So much fun to drive. Private seller, no fees or taxes.
