Vehicle Detail
First of all, Thanks for looking. This vehicle is actually cleaner than it appears in the pictures...not carpet shampooed, Armor All slathered/detailed clean, just clean from being cared for...no cigarette smoke, musty, offensive or weird smells. If you want to see more pictures, please send me an email to banners2u@yahoo, or contact me at 304-784-6680, give me your email address, and I will send you the link to photobucket where you will see the same pictures I have here on Ebay plus around 60 more. I tried to put a link directly to the pictures, but Ebay wouldn't allow it to be inserted in the listing. Should be everything there you would want to see. It is black pearl metallic in color and the paint literally shines like new...notice the reflections. In some of the interior pictures, due to the light and shadow effect, the carpet appears to be a little dirty in some areas...it is not though...it's about as clean inside as you will find in a pre-owned vehicle. The outside is in great condition too, with only 1 very minor door ding(no paint damage) on the rear passenger door, and you have to be looking at it from an angle to the light to see it...that's it as far as door dings go...1...and this car is black, so you know how even very minor stuff shows up! On the rear bumper there are 3 or 4 small places in a foot or so area that looks like someone backed lightly into a chain link fence, or something similar....they have been touched up with matching touch up paint, and aren't even noticeable unless you are looking for something...there's 1 picture here and 2 more on photobucket....I took 3 because it's hard to get them to show up very well in pictures. As far as condition goes, that's the only things to mention, and as stated, they are very minor. Otherwise, the outside is a solid 9+ out of 10 over the entire surface of the paint, trim and glass. It's obvious there has never been any type of paintwork whatsoever. I have bought 5 and sold 4 cars on Ebay, and I'm very particular about pointing stuff out no matter how small, because I always appreciate the same when I'm buying. You will be very impressed with the condition of the vehicle...no worries there. Under the hood it's as clean as the rest of the vehicle...looks 6 months old under the hood...1 picture here and several on photobucket. The tires match, are all equally good, and I'm estimating they have 75% of the tread life remaining. It comes with the owners manual still in the original holder and both remote key fobs. It was a Chrysler Corporate Lease vehicle leased new by a company around New York. My understanding is that being the type lease it was, it included all service and maintenance for the duration of the lease...no records made it to me, but all of the fluids were at the proper levels, the anti-freeze pegs my tester, and the oil is still clean looking from the last oil change...I looked under it to locate the oil filter and it actually has March 13, 2012 and the miles at last oil change written on the filter....94,xxx. I keep the oil in our vehicles changed regularly and have a new filter and oil that I purchased a couple weeks ago that will go with it. The miles are obviously easy highway ones, because the vehicle basically drives as solid as if it had 5000 miles....no thumps, pull, or strange noises when going down the road, and no interior creaking, excessive wind noise, etc...tight as a drum. In 2009, Dodge made many suspension changes to the Nitro, due to their being criticized for the harsh ride and handling in the 07's and 08's, and it is clearly evident to me, since we drove a 2008 prior to buying this one and could tell the difference. Our daughter recently started driving, and wanted a Nitro. I looked around for weeks to find the best used one I could find for the money. It was purchased from Chrysler by a wholesale dealer just outside NY along with 9 others owned by the same company when they turned them in at the end of the lease. I was able to get the pick of the litter : ) He kept this one for a few months for his wife to drive. Trust me, I'm very overprotective of my daughter, and would NEVER let her go out in a car if I weren't 100% comfortable with it. We bought it in June, and the only reason we are selling now is because she wants a small car...all her friends ended up getting cars, and I think she is wanting the extra 7 or 8 miles per gallon she can get to be able to drive around more on the amount of gas money she has each week. We really like it, and would just keep it, but we have another SUV, a Ford Supercrew pickup, and a couple cars already. When I drove it from just outside NYC to my home in West Virginia....550-600 miles, I got 23.2 mpg on the trip. It is NOT for sale locally, and will NOT be pulled from Ebay out from under you at the last minute...I've had that happen. You can feel comfortable that my descriptions are accurate...my Feedback is 100%, having bought and sold 9 cars on Ebay. It has not been driven since the pictures were taken, and will not be driven during the auction. The starting price is the Reserve...one bid gets it. The starting price is the current NADA Trade Value. The Buy It Now Price is the Edmunds Private Party Value MINUS 1500.00, so it is priced more than fairly, especially considering the condition of the vehicle. I have a clear title in hand. If you have been considering a Nitro, or an SUV of this size in general, you really can't go wrong, plus you get it for 40% of the original sticker price while getting a vehicle that is 80% as good as a new one....even in WV we understand that math! NADA Retail Value: 13775.00 Edmunds Retail Value: 14575.00 None of this is B.S. I encourage you to come check it out in person. Just let me know and we can arrange a time. Please message me through Ebay, email, or call me at 304-784-6680, if you have any questions at all. I will check the auction, email and voicemail several times each day and get back to you promptly. Again, Thanks for looking.
