1967 Mercedes Benz 250 SL Offered for your consideration is this hard to find and very collectible vehicle. Titled as a 1967, it's VIN number suggests this is really a 1966 model (there were less than ten 1967 250 SL's manufactured). This fine car is in gently worn condition with few previous owner modifications save an extra coat of matching paint somewhere along its journey. The SL is in running condition with a recently reworked fuel system including tank, fuel pump and lines, as it had been warehoused by the previous Kansas owner for approximately five years prior to its coming into my possession a little over a year ago. Both hard and soft tops are included. Tires have near full tread remaining. Vehicle comes with boxed original wheels and hubcaps along with the ones shown on the vehicle. A Becker Radio, though not installed, is also included. Original full-sized spare with cover along with tire tools, chock and original jack are in place. Period coco mats line both passenger floorboards and trunk over original carpet and liner. Car is driven a few miles each week to keep fluids circulating. Service records are included dating back to the early 70's. I believe this vehicle to be a fine starting point for a full restoration, or it could be enjoyed as I have - a weekly, gently worn head-turning runabout, albeit one which requires regular pampering, service and maintenance.
