1982 Honda Hondamatic 450A This is a very rare 1982 CM450A Hondamatic motorcycle. I am the third owner and the bike has only 14,700 miles on it. The bike is in excellent condition for its age and runs great. The front brake was sticking after the bike had been sitting for several months, but loosened right up when I put some recent miles on it. The paint is very good, with only minor scuffs and scratches reflective of the bikes age, but there are no dents. The chrome is good and the tires have excellent tread. There is some minor surface rust and pitting, mainly on the lower exposed metal. These bikes have a two speed automatic that means there is no clutch. It is a great bike for commuting, running errands, or just cruising. All the Hondamatics were dependable and comfortable. Not a Hot Rod by any means, these bikes were recognized as good durable transportation, and made excellent starter bikes. The previous owner and his wife used it to attend art fairs and regional events throughout the Summer months. Extra features included are the hard plastic saddle bags with locks and keys, custom seat with adjustable backrest, zipper pouch on back of sissy bar, and a high-rise wrap around windshield that is flawless. I have attempted to be as accurate as possible about the bike's condition, and provide pictures from every angle. As with any bike that is 31 years old, there are blemishes, scuffs and minor flaws that may not show up in pictures.
