For Sale is a 1937 Ford Frame and 53 Mercury Engine. I bought the engine out of a wrecked 53 car complete. I took the engine to a friend of mine who is a Flathead guru and he took the engine apart. The first thing he saw was the cylinder walls still had the honing marks in them and the vales were still lined up. We think the engine had about 2000 miles on it. He then cleaned the engine test for cracks and reassembled the engine. The pistons are .30 over the crank is 10/10. Also sold with the frame and engine is a 37 steering column steering box and a Banjo wheel (steering wheel is in very restorable shape).The frame has some pitting but no rust holes in the frame. Over all condition of the frame is above average. The tires are new. I also have the 3 speed over drive Transmission (not included in sale) if anyone is interested.
