Vehicle Detail
THIS IS A NO RESERVE LISTING. This is my 1987 Jeep Grand Wagoneer 4x4 with 140,286 miles. This is a classic, fun-to-drive Jeep. This is a solid, clean Wagoneer that runs and drives great. These Wagoneers are becoming more difficult to find in good condition, and have started to become collectible. This is a clean, good-running example that isn't all rusted out like so many others. Buy this now, and in a few years it will be worth more. This is probably one of the nicer Wagoneers you will find. And you don't need to do a bunch of work to it- just drive it! This Jeep has the following equipment and options:5.9L V8 engineautomatic transmisson4x4 with low rangepower windowspower mirrorspower lockspower seatstilt wheelcruise controlA/Cpower rear tailgate windowtrailer hitch receiver This is a very good-running Wagoneer. It runs great and it has no known mechanical problems. The motor starts up great and runs well. It doesn't smoke or burn oil. The suspension, brakes, steering, etc are all working well with no known problems. I would trust this Wagoneer to drive anywhere- I would trust it to drive cross-country in fact. You can fly in to Cleveland (CLE) and drive this Jeep home if you like. The exterior, paint and body look nice. This isn't a perfect Jeep, or a show car. But it is solid and looks nice. There is no exterior body panel rust, and all the body panels look good. There are some normal exterior imperfections, small dings, etc, like you'd expect for a 1987- again it isn't a show car. The power windows and the power rear window are all working. The back seat windows are a little slow, they probably haven't seen much use. The headliner is brand new. This is a 1987 vehicle and as such is not brand new. Please expect normal issues or wear and tear consistent with the age of the truck. Here is a list of anything and everything I know that is wrong with the Jeep: the driver's side vent window is missing the latch to lock it closed. A replacement window with a good latch is included. The radio is an aftermarket CD player but it doesn't seem to turn on. I have the original factory radio which is included. The cruise control and air conditioning do not work. The air conditioning compressor and belts and all lines are intact, and I see no reason why the A/C could not be serviced, charged and made to work if someone wanted. The underside of the Jeep is a somewhat rusty but the frame is solid. I have the ignition key only, not the door key. The "woody" vinyl panels are in good shape, but not perfect- there are a few scrapes here and there. The paint is good but not perfect, I would call it a 5-footer! The interior door panels are somewhat worn. The interior is good but certainly not perfect- it shows some wear including some cracks and splits in the leather seats. This is a carbureted engine, so if you start it cold, it may take a minute or so to run smoothly. This is a good condition, nice, reliable Wagoneer you can use and enjoy exactly the way it is. This truck is kept in my building in Willoughby, OH. If you're interested in shipping, please contact Angels Moving Autos at 530 245 0481. The 4x4 works great, and goes in and out perfectly. The 4x4 has just been serviced and a new vacuum actuator motor has been installed. The 4x4 dash light does not illuminate, however. Additionally, I should note that there is a hole in the carpet on the passenger side front, which you can't see in the photos.
