What we describe is what you will get. We are the certified second owner of this vehicle. We had the original title in our possession when we transferred from Wisconsin to Illinois. We purchased and have the bill of sale from the original owner's daughter. This is a 1996 Mercury Grand Marqius GS with dealer installed touring package. This car has been professionally maintained all its life. We have had this car in our possession since last November and have driven it almost 4000 100% trouble free miles back and forth to work a few days a week. The car is as close to perfect as I believe you could find. I would not hesitate for a single minute to drive this car anywhere. Even though the original owner was no longer able to drive, the family used it to take her to Dr. appointments, grocery store, etc. just to keep the car from sitting. Before we drove it to Illinois we had four new Goodyear tires installed and oil changed. Since then we have had the oil and filter changed, that's it! No oil or transmission leaks. The car was rustproofed before leaving the dealership and it shows. The car is 99.99 % rust free including the under carraige and frame. This is a full framed vehicle not unibody. We had a class 2 hitch installed for our bike rack. Now, here is what we know. The car has a very minor dent (hardly noticible) on the front left fender, a light scratch on the right front fender, a couple of small hail dings, and a few typical small scratches here and there. The car starts, runs, and drives excellant. You do get a noise on a slow hard turn going over a bump like out of drive way. It sounds like dried bushings but has no effect on the cars driveability. also, the radio does not turn off but we listen to the radio so not a problem, otherwise we turn the voulme down. Interior is next to perfect, no rips, tears, factory floor mats have been used and in great condition. Trunk is huge and clean. Last, we do not need to sell the car, I just do not want to store it outdoors this winter.
