This is a completely restored numbers-matching car in "as delivered" condition. Having been single-family owned from 1966 until 2007, the car was bought by a Chevelle enthusiast/historian and returned to a time capsule like condition. This Chevelle starts right with a great exhaust note, shifts and accelerates with no hesitation, has good brakes, good clutch, no problem with engine temperature and no strange or problematic noises. Mechanics, as described above, this Chevelle is a fantastic driving car. There aren't any apparent mechanical flaws and it's obvious that this car's been well maintained. The headlights, taillights, brake lights and turn signals all work. The suspension and shocks feel very good and the tires have plenty of tread. Exterior, This car was repainted in the original color to a very high standard several years ago. The paint is very bright and shiny. There is one very small area behind the drivers window, where the factory weld, which must have contained some lead, has caused a very slight "texture" to develop in the paint. Please understand that I am being hyper-critical of this car, as the rest of it is litereally "like new". A lot of people would never see this little blemish. The rubber, chrome and external metalwork is all exceptional. Interior, As nice or better than the outside, everything is like new. There are no flaws, rips or tears in the carpet, seats or headliner. All of the interior metal trim is EXCELLENT. There is no ssign of age or wear in anything. Binders full of documentation!
