Vehicle Detail

Hi there: Selling my very rare in the US 1963 Pontiac Parisienne 4 dr. This car is in great driver+ condition and is daily driven! It was originally purchased in Toronto in 1963 to a gentleman in Saskatchewan. In 1968 it was auctioned to a buyer in CA who put VERY few miles on it and kept it for most of its life. It was sold to another buyer in the valley a few years back and then to me. Check out below for ORIGINAL paperwork on the car. Original receipt, invoice and Owner Protection Book! Very cool! The car is largely untouched and from my research has 68,000 original miles. It sppears to have had a respray which is a 7-8 out of 10. It has some flaws, but no rust or bubbles and shines up nice. It was resprayed in the original Yorktown Blue metallic and all jams were down too. The car is SOLID. There is 98% no rust and ZERO rot. There is some surface rust on a couple spots on the underside - no rot and the surface rust almost laughable. Chrome is great and so is trim. Even have original keys!!! It is the original Pontiac branded, Chevy 250 I6. For those new to the Canadian Pontiacs - the Canadians preferred the looks of the Pontiac but perceived the Chevys to less performance based and therefore less maintenance. So the frame, engine and suspension of a Parisienne are Chevy Impala. The engine is Chevy but is branded Pontiac and the body panels are Pontiac, but altered to fit the Impala frame. Parts are EASY to find generally. The tranny is the tried and true Chevy 3spd on the tree. Engine runs VERY strong. Rear main has a minor drip to it - just enough to give it a little clutch chatter if sat overnight and disappears in two blocks. Trans shifts great and clutch feels great. Did not come with a 1st gear syncro from the factory, but 2nd and 3rd are zero grinds. Even original OptiKleen bottle under the hood!!!! NEW: Fuel pump Battery Plugs Wires Cap Starter Have tried to keep it as original as possible. Same goes for the interior. I put covers on the seats. They have some tears, but springs are great. Pics below to show whats under the covers is not a disaster at all, I just dont want them to get any worse as its only original once! Lights work, heater works, lighter works, wipers work, dome light works, headliner is in amazing original shape and so the sunvisors (usually the first to go). Radio is original and turns on but no sound. Right turn signal canceller is jammed and fuel gauge is hit or miss. I installed front seat belts and have an extra rear set if desired. Even the glovebox light works!! Carpet is great, has a small tear near the drivers side kick panel but otherwise awesome. Good brakes, lots of life on the shoes and drums. NEW tires all around!! Trunk is SOLID!!! Doors are solid! NO RUST! All windows work including the vent windows. Drivers window rollers arent perfect but it goes up and down. This is just a great solid driver. I have owned lots of classics and newer cars - for some reason this one gets SO much attention and so many thumbs up. Its just a great big Pontiac that puts a smile on everyones face. I am only selling because I need to make some changes to where my money is invested at this point and it pains me to see it go. Would love to see it go to a Pontiac family! Feel free to ask questions - its great Poncho looking for a new home! Finding a 4dr, I6 3spd and virtually rust free is near impossible. Trust me, I've looked. Its a rare car that gets attention everywhere!!
