Assurance enough that the particulars are particularly exemplary.” Drivetrain: When the Bentley Eight was first introduced, it was a surprise to find such a grand car to be so “nimble and quick,” but the power behind the mighty Rolls-Royce engine was smoothed out by an all-independent, self-leveling suspension, which greatly improved handling. The improved handling on the Bentley gave passengers a peaceful ride in the laps of luxury, and this Bentley can continue to do so for years to come. The Bentley listed here retains its stock 6.75-liter Rolls-Royce eight-cylinder engine and 4-speed 4L80-E automatic transmission. It starts and runs well, but we’ve only driven it around the facility so we can’t vouch for how it will run above parking lot speeds. And while there’s a great amount of power and weight behind the Bentley, the four-wheel disc brakes control it without any problem. Exterior: The Bentley is a rolling statement with its gentle curves, broad stance and identifiable grille. Its luxury and elegance is definitely not lost on passers-by. This Bentley is in great shape except for a few scratches and chips in the paint. Nothing is missing, none of the lights are cracked or broken, and the chrome grille shines brightly. The tires still have plenty of tread so it’s ready to be driven and enjoyed. Interior: Although the Eight was Bentley’s entry-level model, you wouldn’t know it from its luxuriously outfitted interior. From the plush leather seats to the wood trim and chrome details, this Bentley is all taste and elegance. While the leather on the front seats has some slight wear, it’s still in very good shape and has no rips or tears. And the headliner and carpet are clean and look almost brand new. It also comes equipped with air-conditioning, AM/FM radio and cassette player, and power windows and seats – all of which work. The spare tire and jack are tucked away in the trunk under a line of rich, blue carpet. Overall: This Bentley is waiting to get back on the road again, but please keep in mind that it hasn’t been driven much over the past three years and while it runs and drives, we suggest the buyer engages a qualified mechanic to examine the vehicle to ensure that it’s roadworthy. It has a clear title and is currently on PNO in the state of California.
