You are bidding on a beautiful example of a well kept and maintained 1985 Ferrari Mondial Cariolet. I purchased this car October 1, 2007 from a private party in San Jose , California. The car was in very good condition including new factory leather seating and recently serviced by a local shop. Since my ownership, I had the car repainted to it's original color by a very high end paint shop. The original paint was slightly faded and had usual scratches and small rock chips. Looks like new again! The prior owner had a very expensive stereo system professionally installed including 2 light up power amps and a base speaker in the trunk along with new speakers in the doors and on the sides of the rear seat. I believe it is set up for Bluetoodh phone and various other options. Very clean job without destroying the originality of the car. The convertible top in in good condition along with the top boot leather cover. I recently changed the oil, installed new plugs, and detailed the car. Included with the sale of this car are the original factory wheels along with the special wheels currently on the car, all original tools, factory owners manual, and 2 workshop manuals. This car is ready to drive and enjoy. I was told by the prior owner that he believes he was the 2nd or 3rd owner of this car. He was told by the individual he purchased the car from that the timing belt service had been recently done. I do not have any service records to support this so I have been told by several of my Ferrari owner friends that it would be good to have this service done again. Typically the new belts, parts and labor to do this runs around $1200 to $1500. Other than this service recommendation the car appears to need nothing but to be driven and enjoyed. I own over 40 cars in my collection and am starting to sell some of them off to get to a more managable level .
