Vehicle Detail
*Car is being re-listed due to non-paying bidder. Please don't bid unless you have the funds available* 1974 Stingray Up for auction is a very nice and quite rare 74’ Corvette Stingray. This is a great example of a rust-free CA classic Vette that’s never left the state. This is a matching numbers car with the factory 350 engine and Muncie 4-speed trans. Engine block numbers match the VIN. Rare color combo, classic white with factory saddle leather interior. Very well documented car with over 30 years and thousands of dollars worth of invoices, also comes with original owners manual and factory assembly manual. I purchased the car from the original family in Ventura County so this is a two owner car. I have a clean and current CA title in hand ready to sell. CA tags are paid until Jan 2013. This Vette has the original engine and trans. The drivetrain was rebuilt by previous owner a few years ago and have about 20k miles since the rebuild. Engine sounds healthy and pulls very strong. Has a few upgrades including a mild race cam, headers, new performance exhaust, Hurst shifter, and a couple other things. The rear end and suspension were also recently rebuilt. It has a new battery, radiator, fuel tank, and lots more. . Car runs like a beast at all speeds. It starts every time, doesn’t overheat or leak oil. It’s very reliable and I wouldn’t hesitate to use it as a daily driver. The body is in great shape and has all original body panels. Rust-free doors, frame, floor pans, birdcage, ect. It’s never been in an accident. Everything lines up straight just as it should. Prefect seems between doors, fenders, and hood. Car was painted about 3 months ago and looks flawless. Haven’t driven it much since the paintjob was done and it’s always been stored indoors. Still has all original glass and trim in great shape. The interior is pretty clean as well, has new carpet & mats, and the original dash is not cracked (it’s always had a cover). It has an aftermarket stereo that sounds great and late model corvette seats. Car needs a few minor things like power window motors installed. I just ordered both off eBay because the original ones were working very slow. If I get them before auction is over I will install them myself. I also ordered a new tach because the original one had the needle broken off and it was making noise. Door weather-stripping hasn’t been reinstalled yet since the paint was done, but it’s included with the car. Aside from that this is a very nice Corvette that can easily be restored to show quality with a little additional work. My plan was to get a set of stock rally wheels and original seats to get it looking just as it did when it rolled off the assembly line in 74. Car is available for inspection by any serious bidder during this auction so feel free to give me a call and set up an appointment (714)721-9031 leave a brief message if I don’t answer and I’ll call you right back. As all other classic cars it is being sold in AS IS condition with no warranty implied or expressed with this sale. Please ask questions if you are unsure of anything prior to bidding. Not really interested in any trades so please don’t ask. This is a NO RESERVE listing so the car will go to the highest bidder no matter what. View my feedback and bid with confidence. Thanks for viewing my listing and HAPPY BIDDING!!!
