Vehicle Detail
This is a 1955 Bel Air 4 door car. Engine is the Blue Flame 235 6 cylinder, Transmission is the 3 speed on the column. this car is Complete, all original, and Solid!, thats the best part about this car. The undercarriage is perfect, no rust holes. floor boards are great, frame, trunk, etc. this car has been garaged for the last 20 plus years. parked more than driven. the mileage is 19,xxx. my first guess is that is 119,xxx. but I dont know. I'm the 4th owner. 1st owner was in North Carolina, 2nd owner here in Missouri parked it for 7 years until the 3rd owner purchased in 2001. in 2002 it recieved a new gas tank, brake work, wheel cylinders, all fluids replaced, tune up, & the shift tube/ steering column rebuilt. etc. then driven once a week or once a month for the next 10 years. this car can be driven anywhere right now. I just rebuilt the carb and replaced the fuel filter. and a fresh oil change. I cant stress enough how solid this car is for its age. all doors open and close with one finger. only rust on the car is in the pictures. one spot on driver rear door at bottom, and some around pass headlight. only ding on the whole car is on drivers door. everything works on car as it should. all the lights, blinkers, etc. the left blinker indicator light on dash is out. but blinker still flashes outside. paint on roof and trunk is in bad shape.and 2 door windows are cracked. I could paint the roof, trunk and have some flat glass cut for the windows, and clean it up better, paint the engine and undercoat the whole car, throw a seat cover on it and probably get $2000 more for the car, but I'd rather give someone a better deal and save myself some time and money. I tried to take as many pics as I could to show all the good & bad. such as the drivers seat. I have a clear missouri title in hand. Thanks for looking
