For sale is an 1980 280 SE in immaculate condition. This piece was my fathers pride and joy for 32 years, bought new in 1981. Garage kept under a cover, it was driven very occasionally. My father was a meticulous man, I have every receipt for service, which every one is from a Mercedes dealership, even the batteries have been replaced by Mercedes over the years. I even have the original sales contract, all original paperwork and more. My father just recently past away and I am selling the car for my mom. FYI: This vehicle was stolen from a MB showroom in 1980. It was recovered by the Philadelphia police and sold as new to my Dad, but a Special Plate with the VIN had to be issued by the state of PA because the original plate was removed by the thieves.
