1957 Chevy Bel air 2 door post. The car has been in our family since 1980, my brother bought it back then and drove it a couple weeks in the summer then put it back in the garage until the next summer, he did that for a few years until he passed away. The car needs work now, main issue is the floor pan, the floor braces and inner rockers, they will need to be replaced. Otherwise the rest of the body looks to be okay, do not know if there was work done to any of the body panels or not. Probably would be best if you came by and inspected it yourself as i am not a body person at all. Have finally decided this is to big of project for me so I decided to sell and move on to other things. This auction is for the complete body and frame as seen in pics, seats, fenders, and frt bumper and grille are there too, also the extra frame goes with it also. Car is basically all there, just no engine or trans. No engine or transmission for the car, when we got the car it had a 350 small block in it with a 3 speed man. trans. Looks like the car had originally had an automatic in it as the column has the gear selector on it. The extra frame i bought a couple of years ago, is in good shape, guy i bought it from told me it was all sandblasted and primed but then left outside for a couple of years, has surface rust but otherwise is in good shape.
