Here is one of the last handbuilt m5 sedans.300 horsepower,courtesy of the 24 valve 6 throttlebodied high compression motor, a 5 speed transmission,positrac differential and 17 inch wheels let the understated bmw keep up with the american V8s in a straight line.The suspension and handling puts those 'musclecars 'in a class one step above a stagecoach.The M5 was a very limited production that was handbuilt by special teams at the munich factory.This one has the desireable 'executive' rearseat option[basically buckets and a console in the back.The car runs and drives great,no noises,rattles or pulls.I bought it about a year ago,it was maintained properly,always had mobil one synthetic oil in it.The interior is almost perfect,no rips,tears cracks or dry leather.The former owner installed an expensive suede steering wheel,i do not have the original.The grey headliner and package tray sow a little fading,Other than that,the interior is immaculate.All gauges and power acessories[seats,windows] function as intended.All hubcaps are good and free of roadrash.The tires are at 70 percent,no dryrotting or sidewall cracks.All bodypanels have the factory stickers on them,i don't think this car has ever been in a collision.There are some rock chips in the paint[front of hood] that are consistent with the cars age and miles.This car can be driven anywhere.I played with it for a year without any issues other than the a/c not blowing cold,should not be too difficult to find an E34 compressor.For questions or pictures of certain areas please call 214/707 9525 [On Oct-20-12 at 14:04:36 PDT, seller added the following information: per records,the car had a set of new bilstein shocks,a new exhaust system[1300 dollars]and a short throw shifter installed.Service records for thrustarms and clutch slave are also there.Trying to load a youtube video and having problems.look up dallas fellow and go to m5.On Oct-20-12 at 14:13:26 PDT, seller added the following information: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=42IjKQqcwpE&feature=share&list=UUYbF_pkdj_QDmhNzOGu_v_A Here is a you tube video link that shows the car.
