As a former AMC Mechanic, I was thrilled to find this car in California in 1997. Since then I have spent about 100,000 miles behind the wheel of this amazing car. During those 15 years, the major repair expense was a new transmission . Between 175,000 and 200,000 typical maintenance items were replaced, such as u-joints, cv joints, radiator, ball joints, tie rods, and other miscellaneous parts. The interior is in very good condition. Tires, exhaust, exterior, engine and transmission are great. Front and rear brakes are new. The A/C needs a condenser. I do have a spare engine, transfer case and lots of miscellaneous extra parts. The price of the extra parts is negotiable.
