Wow!! Here is a 1970 Volkswagen Beetle Classic. It has had the engine replaced with a SuperBee engine that has 80,000. Car drives well..It has a paint job that is less then 2 years old. It has had front floor panels replaced and door frames redone. It has brand new motor mounts and carburetor. Just had new points plugs and condenser done this week. Mechanic adjusted valves and said inside of the engine looked great. It does need new window seals which I happen to have brand new in the box. I also had a custom charcoal gray carpet made that just needs to be installed. This would fit the entire interior which as you know VW's usually didn't have carpet to cover the sides inside. Just floor mats. The car also has a rare and easy to drive autoshift. No clutch just moving the stick into 3 gears. We bought this back in October 2011 and fixed it up but my daughter is going off to college and wants to get a car with 4 wheel drive for the snow. This is certainly not a snow car.There are a few spots where the paint is bubbling so will need some body work. Will likely need some further restoration to make it complete. We do drive it now without issue and is inspected until the end of the month.Also the passengers side running board is dented but overall no body dents.The car although restored to a good level will need some additional work but certainly a steal at a low reserve.
