You are bidding on a 1978 Chevrolet Corvette 25th Anniversary coupe with only 52,795 original miles since new. The exterior is Frost Blue (which looks like white) and the interior is blue. This Corvette is in beautiful, clean and gorgeous collector's-quality condition, and it needs nothing. This is one of the nicest, most original Corvettes you will find for sale anywhere. The engine starts and runs perfectly. It is tight, stable and drives smoothly. There are no known mechanical problems. It doesn't need any work, and it is ready to use and enjoy. This car has recently had a great deal of work- including a new 4-core radiator, new alternator, new brakes, new dual exhaust and nearly new tires. The headlights go up and down properly and work great. This is an original car- not a redone car. It is in superb condition all around, again probably one of the finest Corvettes of this body style for sale anywhere. The body and paint are in very good condition. The paint appears to be original, and it shows no sign of accidents. The paint is glossy and beautiful. There are no fluid leaks. There are a few small flaws, nicks, brush-touched spots, etc but it looks superb overall. The fenders show the original bonding lines beneath the paint- just like they did when new. The air conditioning is fully intact and all parts are present. The air conditioning lines were disconnected in order to install the new radiator, and when they were reconnected the system was not recharged or pressure tested. The A/C therefore does not blow cold. The interior is clean and in great condition. The original leather is in great shape. The carpets, plastics and upholstery are excellent. This is a clean and nice-condition interior. This car comes with books and manuals as wells as many service manuals and other literature. The badges on the hood are L-82, but I can't say for certain if it has the L-82 package or not. This car was owned by an older gentleman who rarely drove the car. He kept it garaged and it has never been exposed to salt or snow, nor even very much rain for that matter.
