This fun little pickup is ready for a new home. It is running and driving. We have a clear title on hand and the truck is available for worldwide shipment. Click the small pictures for larger images. This truck is sporting older black paint which is now showing its age evident by the patina. The body is solid and there no signs of rot in floors or the cab corners. There is some surface rust were paint has worn/chipped off but no rot through. The truck runs a 283ci small block Chevy V8 engine. This little workhorse fires right up, idles smooth and does not smoke or miss. The previous owner had this rebuilt motor installed and it has an estimated 20k miles on it. Unfortunately there is no paperwork as the work was done as a "side job". However I know the previous owner personally and I knew of him having the rebuilt engine installed before he was thinking of selling the truck. The V8 is backed by a Turbo 700R4 automatic with overdrive transmission. The truck runs and drives well with good power. It does not overheat, even in our 100 degree Sacramento weather. It has been driven on the freeway and has no trouble maintaining freeway speeds and faster. The comfortable interior has been updated in some areas but still retains the classic look of the dash. Later model buckets seats replace the bench with a center console added as well. Later model steering collum with leather wrapped aluminum Le Carra wheel make for comfortable handling. A full compliment of aftermarket gauges have been added, all are in working order. PLEASE NOTE... As you can see in the pictures this truck has had an air conditioning unit installed. Everything is there but when the engine was replaced the systyem was disconected. Once it was reinstalled they did not have the system recharged so it does not blow cold. It will need to be at the least charged and may need some other work to make it fully operational. The truck handles well for an old truck especially considering it is running on bias-ply tires. The truck has been "clipped" with an early 1970's Pontiac independent front suspension. This also gives the truck power steering and disc brakes up front as well. The rear suspension has been modified for better handling as well. It has a four link set up with panhard bar, shocks, and air bags. The truck also runs an early 70's GM rear end. All the glass in the truck is in good condition for it's age, no major cracks or chips. The door windows are converted to power and roll up and down smoothly. The truck rolls on brand NEW wheels, tires, caps, and rings. There is probably about a 100 miles on them so far. Wheels are NEW (not old used ones) powder coated 15s. The wheels are wrapped in NEW Firestone 5.60 wide white wall bias-ply tires are at all four corners. New ribbed beauty rings, NEW powder coated adapters, with NEW stainless 1932-35 Ford wire wheel hub caps. Others misc details... relocated gas tank under trucks bed, clean bed wood, locking fiberglass tonue cover, aftermarket AM/FM cassette player that mounts in the stock location, 6 CD changer, cross-overs, amplifier, shaved door handles with remote poppers, Edelbrock aluminum intake, Edelbrock carburetor, dual exhaust with glasspacks, power steering, disc front brakes, 1954 Chevy grill, chrome bumpers, chrome window trimm, and swan neck shifter.
