Item revised...Check out the videos on bottom of page 1957 Buick Riviera Special 2dr hardtop. This is an awesome project car. It is 99.9% complete other than the broken glass (kids) (which I have a line on a complete set if someone is interested) The body has no rust other than a 1 inch square hole over the top of the rear qtr window. The gutter probably didn't get seam sealed good enough at the factory when new. This is a Colorado car so no rust in the floorboards or the rockers. Hood, door and trunk lips are all good no rust through, only surface rust. There is a dent in the drivers side rocker in front of the rear tire where it looks like someone tried to jack it up there. All the chrome is very good, little to no pitting and will shine up real nice. Everything is original right down to the hubcaps. nothing has been changed or modified. It has a 364 nailhead which could possibly be a 300hp motor due to being a 4bbl. All Specials came with a 250hp 2bbl but the 300hp 4bbl was an option and came stock in Centuries, Supers and Roadmasters. It has the original Dynaflow 2spd automatic transmission. The motor turns freely by hand but I have not tried to start it. The radio, a new generator, a new master cylinder and various other parts are in the trunk. The body is in great shape with only minor bruises. I bought this as my next project car because of it's condition but my wife says we have to save for the winter. (stinking economy) All the trim is there, everything for a restoration or very cool restomod. The last couple of pictures shows what this thing could look like without too much effort.
