PLEASE READ & UNDERSTAND THE ENTIRE DESCRIPTION ! up for auction ...a 1957 chevrolet wagon,.....do you love 57 chevys? ..hate the high price for something that ..at least runs ? ...well this car is a great value for someone who wants a great running, driving, fully functional DRIVER QUALITY vintage wagon with some small upgrades.....witch includes the following...NEW upgraded charging system, an alternator was installed replacing the old generator and voltage regulator setup (a nice PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION ! ) ..the old front wheel ball bearings were swapped out for a NEW set of tapered roller bearings, ...the old fuel sending unit was swapped out and a brand new 3/8 fuel line was installed from the tank to the fuel pump,... carb was cleaned tanked & rebuilt by me personally,... air filter was reconfigured to accept a new paper element filter witch can be purchased from any parts house(it has a brand new one installed ) as for the rest of the car.....it's still wearing its original "sierra gold" and "adobe beige" two tone paint and interior it's a beautiful color combo,(however the finish on the car has that "desert patina") it's pretty burned off in places but to me it just ads to its character.... the interior is clean and comfortable with a new seat cover and carpet installed..there were a few holes in the floor that were cut out patched and are VERY solid ...the following items ALL work, turn signals, horn, headlights,heater blower motor,& air vents,... the car shifts like a dream, starts right up and cruises very nicely ...now for the not so nice stuff...the two rear windows on the driver side of the car are cracked...there not broken thru so i did not replace them ...the rally wheels that are on the car now DO NOT go with the car .i have the original wheels and hubcaps with some roller tires on them,..they will be installed when the car is picked up ...all in all this is a great cruiser with a little personality and most importantly ( A LOW PRICE ) for what you are getting........ if you have any questions feel free to email ............. the payment instructions are as follows.......
