Purchased from the original owner,this falcon is the one! Always a California car,with the original black plates. This car has been completely restored. It runs and drives very nice. It gets 27 mpg and is very reliable. Drive cross country,daily driver,cruise nights,car shows,etc. This car gets lots of attention anywhere it goes ! The engine is a 170 straight six,which has been completely rebuilt and has less than 2k. miles on it.It has all new accessories,new carburetor,fuel pump,plugs, wires,cap,rotor and runs like a top. The transmission is a 3 spd (three on the tree) it also has been rebuilt,and has a new clutch.Very fun to drive. All of the brakes have been done.All new shoes,drums,spring kits,master cylinder.and wheel bearings. The paint work on this falcon is absolutely gorgeous and was done in PPG base coat /clear coat system.This is the original color of the vehicle pulled off of the color code# The wheels were painted to match and script less vintage era correct caps were added(very hard to find). It has BFG silverton wide whites and rides like a dream on them. The suspension is very tight.The vehicle is lowered 2inches in the front and 3 inches in the rear.New springs were made for this application and all new KYB shocks were added for extra performance. The gauges are all original and in excellent condition . The radio is also original and a new speaker was added.However the radio has just stopped working.It has power and lights up but no sound any more. I was told it was quit common and needed a new resistor.It is a 12 dollar part at radio shack for the handy or send it in and for 160 it gets rebuilt. The interior is all new and was done in a factory style.However modern seat foam was used and is much more comfortable than the original,plus it wont break down like the original. A very nice job was done ! All work done during the restoration of this falcon was done by professional shops.(top quality only). This was not a cheap restoration by any means and have invested over 25k.This does not include what I paid for it.I hate to have to sell it but I must.Bid with confidence ,as this is a high quality restoration and a steal of a deal........
