Vehicle Detail

I own a repair shop in Mission Viejo, California and I spotted this beauty in the backyard of one of my customers, who had it sitting in the elements for a number of years, as you can see in the pictures. The car had not been driven since 1989, and had only been started occasionally up until a few years ago when the husband passed away. I am trying to confirm whether he was the first or second owner. I bought it from her immediately to restore it for my daughter. As it turned out, she wasn't interested in an "OLD" car so here it is for someone who appreciates these beauties and will give it a new home. I went through the engine and replaced some items before attempting to start it, ensuring it was well lubricated and the internal parts were not seized up. It fired up almost immediately and ran just as the previous owner said it would! You can see video of it running here: http://youtu.be/NXrnCDezQ3c Aside for the mechanical work, it is exactly as I found it. I've done nothing to clean it up or hide any imperfections. The Odometer says 78k on it, but I have not validated whether it has rolled over or not. The car appears to be all or mostly all original, and there is no rust on the vehicle. The body is straight and appears to have the original paint on it. There is one minor dent on the drivers side as you see in the pictures. The main work to be done on this, aside for major cleaning, is the interior. It was exposed to the elements for a long time and it shows obviously. It is a complete wash. Everything appears to work on the car though, and it runs good. The transmission seems very solid, and the clutch is functional. Might need bleeding, or replacing but I am not planning to do any additional work on it. The underside shows no rust and is in pretty good shape. UPDATE 10/09/12: I apologize to those who are watching this, but the year was posted incorrectly. It is actually a 1975, manufactured in Nov 1974. Thank you to an eBayer for pointing out the error. On Oct-10-12 at 13:48:27 PDT, seller added the following information: UPDATE 10/10/12: JUST RECEIVED DMV Paperwork and they have this recorded as a 1974 even though it was manufactured in November. As there is a bid on this, I can not change the listing year. Also, DMV states it will cost only $83.00 to register it in California. It is registered Non-Operational at this time.
