1992 Mercedes 300D 2.5 Liter Turbo Diesel with less the a quarter of its life used.. With some Mercedes-Benz 250D/E250D diesels exceeding 500,000 or 1,000,000 miles, it is considered to be one of the most reliable engines ever produced, a success which is only comparable with the famous OM617 engine. (wikipedia) This Mercedes runs and drives very well. Excellent Ice cold Air conditioning with a new compressor and all fittings. All services are up to date including a fresh set of Glow Plugs fuel lines and filters. The Tires were all replaced and are brand new.This vehicle is solid like a tank and drives like one... The exterior presents nicely and the paint shines with high gloss. There are very minor scratches and dings assosiated with a vehicle of this age and vintage. The interior looks great drivers seat bolster is worn through non smoker well kept ,dash is great and all components work as they should. The sunroof opens and closes smoothly as does all the windows. The power locks and cruise control work great. The radio is inoperable because of the detachable face. There is a replacement radio and will be given to the winner. Mechanically runs like a dream starts right up no smoke and idles smoothly. Runs down the road straight as an arrow. Brakes feel strong without any vibrations are shimmy. Transmission shifts tight and smooth. There are no leaks i can see. In conclusion this mercedes was built like a tank and in an era were there was no budget.. and quality and longetivity a main concern. It Shows....
