Vehicle Detail

My 1961 Corvette complete and runs but needs work. I have owned this since 1999, I recently had the fuel injection reinstalled after driving it for years with a four barrel. With the four barrel it ran very well, fast car but when i decided to sell it I took it to a fellow who claimed to know them to have the injection unit resealed and put back in, thinking it would bring more with it working. That was a mistake because it hasn't run properly since then and I can't find anyone locally who will work on it and I am tired of dealing with it so my loss is your gain. It does run but poorly, you'll need to have someone who knows what they are doing look at it becasue you can't drive it far as it is. As I said, with a four barrel it was very fast. The car is complete with a clear title with a four speed, positrac rearend, newer interior and has been painted and interior replaced since I bought it. I have the powerbar radio but took it out for an AM/FM. New, matched Goodyears, including spare, newer interior, including carpet and door panels. The motor is a 350 so nom. Other known problems. There are three bad places on the paint caused by dropping the top or by closing the hood improperly, they're small and the paint overall is good. The tach doesn't work, it did with the four barrel so the problem is probably in the distributor. The transmission is stiff in second gear, okay to drive but will sometimes pop out of second. it has a Hurst shifter. Can't think of anything else, if you have questions you can phone me at 817-921-3879. Of course transportation is at your expense, I'll assist and payment must be either cash or verified cashier's check. I will work with you on the deposit issue as long as we are communicating and I believe you are acting in good faith.
