I am selling this vehicle for a friend. My friend’s Brother In Law is recently deceased and his wife needs to liquidate assets. This vehicle was given to her on her 50th birthday. You are bidding on a 1956 Chevrolet Bel Air. This vehicle was subject to a “Body Off” Professional restoration including all new suspension and a fresh engine and transmission. The restoration was completed in 1993. We have a 69 picture photo album of the restoration that is available on request to mwbraun@comcast.net. Fast forward to 2012. During the last 20 odd years the vehicle has had very limited use. Because of that infrequent use it runs a little rough and appears to need a carburetor cleaning or possibly simply needs to be driven. The original paint job is very presentable but could stand to be redone. The vehicle is Delaware tagged and the Delaware 5 digit tag goes with the car if sold to a verified Delaware resident Buyer. The power plant is a 265ci V8 with a Two Barrel Carburetor mated to a Powerglide transmission. The interior is great but does need a new headliner due to a hungry mouse. This car would be perfect for a new collector or someone who wants a very presentable 50 plus year old Chevy. The vehicle is for sale locally and we reserve the right to end the auction at any time.
