Vehicle Detail
Excellent unmolested original condition, 66,250 miles. Looks and runs great and would make an excellent daily driver. It also has excellent potential if you're interested in doing an easy restoration, owning a very cool car and creating value in the process. Car has been garaged for most of it's life and is remarkably rust free. I have attended to virtually all of the niggling issues that arise with a low mileage classic car and mechanically and electrically it's in excellent condition. All it really could use mechanically is a new A/C compressor and a part for the cruise control. Runs great; quick even by today's standards and handles and drives like the award winning sports car it is. New, radiator, belts, hoses, vacuum tubes, bushings, battery, JVC CD/MP3 player with blue tooth for hands free cell phone use, new power antenna, 15 inch turbo wheels, Michelin Pilot Exalto tires 205/60/15 (less than 3000 mostly highway miles, no visible wear). (The tires and wheels alone are worth close to $1000) I have the original 14" wheels and radio and cassette player if you want them. The interior is very clean and all there. The carpet, door panels and headliner are immaculate. The seats could use reupholstering, (currently have seat covers) but are in very good shape otherwise. The dash has a few cracks and could use a new cover, but all the gauges and lights work and it's really in fine shape. The body is still beautiful and turns heads almost everywhere it goes. There was an unfortunate incident in a car wash that caused a shallow dent (The size of a grapefruit) on a rear quarter panel and a small crease in the drivers door. These can be seen in the pictures if you look close enough. The car is, all in all. is exceptionally straight, the paint is shiny and quite beautiful. It's solid as a rock and is 98% rust free. There is absolutely zero rust on the undercarriage or wheel wells. An absolutely beautiful car (as is), that is reliable and fun to drive. With a little work and elbow grease it could easily be worth much more than you have in it, and only increase in value as time goes by. I've owned the car for over two and a half years and bought it intending to completely restore it, but circumstances change. My loss will be your gain. Please ask all questions before bidding. Car can be seen at my home just North of Frederickburg, VA. I encourage any local bidders to inspect and drive it before bidding. If you want to talk about the car, send me an email with your phone number and I'll send you mine. (I won't call you first) $200 deposit by Paypal due at end of auction. Balance of funds are due within 5 days of end of auction. Cash (preferred), or wire transfer only. I may consider a cashiers check that I can cash at a local bank before the car leaves my possession. Car is for sale locally asking $3700, but I will not cancel the auction once the bid reaches $3000. I guarantee it will be sold to the highest bidder over that amount.
