Vehicle Detail
Here is a Barn Find Porsche 356 year 1963, I bought the car with the idea of restoring it for collection If you are a Porsche enthusiast you know that an original piece of art like a 356, after restored, will have a very high price if it is done right. Some of them are being sold for over 100 thousand. These are very rare cars likely most people have not seen one unless they have gone to Porsche club of America reunions. This car comes with matching number engine which is disassembled and placed inside the car, also brings a transmission as well, having matching number engine and transmission makes this car really an original one.At this time I have decided that the car should go to hands that could bring it back to life. I don't have the time and the resources to get involve in a restoration nor is my intention to waste it in a bad restoration. As you could see in the pictures, the car has a LOT of RUST, as it is to expect of a 50 year old barn find. Remember that these are the PORSCHE first production cars, you wont find these cars around very often. The good news is that you can find everything for these cars to be restored easy and inexpensive. There are several sites were every single part of these cars is for sale from metal sheet parts, (nose, fenders ,quarter panels, floors etc), to engine parts, to every little piece to make this car as original as the first day, Im listing some of the sites here for you to research, you may first want to check on these sites to figure that parts are not expensive, but when this car is completed it will recover it real value.Klasse356.com, pelicanparts.com, nlaparts.com, 356club.org, stoddard.com, automotion.comPlease don't bid if you are not familiar with restorations, restorations requires time and dedication, I tried to take as many pictures as I could to reflect this car condition, I'm not a mechanic, not a body shop person or a dealer, if you have specific questions I will try to answer up to my knowledge. This car has a lot of rust, and is being sold as is. This is a project car for restoration. Very very low reserve.
