CLICK ON THE PICTURE BELOW FOR MORE PHOTOS! 1996 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham GOLD I am selling my mother’s 1996 Cadillac Fleetwood Brougham. We have owned it for a few years, and it has been very well taken care of. I have receipts for most of the repairs and even oil changes that were done. The car is super-reliable though, so there haven’t been many issues. About a year ago I had my mechanic go through the car and replace anything that needed replacing. Overall the car is a dream to drive and should serve its next owner for many years to come. My only reason for selling: my mother finds this car difficult to park, so we need something smaller. Maintenance We took great care of the Fleetwood. The car comes with all our receipts. I run full synthetic oil and I treated both the engine and trans with a ceramic engine treatment to coat the metal parts of the engine in ceramic. I’m very meticulous about car maintenance, and because this was my mother’s car I wanted to make sure everything was in tip top shape so it never broke down on her. Here is a list of repairs I had done about 12 months ago: AC Recharged New Front Brake pads and Brake Rotors New Rear Brake shoes and Brake Drums Front Crankshaft seal replaced Rear Crankshaft seal replaced (this is a big job) Transmission pan gasket replaced Transmission filter replaced Transmission fluid flushed Oil filter housing gasket replaced Oil cooler hoses replaced Oil and filter changed Window rollers replaced with upgraded circular rollers (this prevents windows from going off track) Wheel alignment done at an excellent alignment shop Four tires filled with Nitrogen to keep air from leaking out. Free refills for life. Replaced flip out cupholder with new one How it drives: The car fires right up without hesitation. There are no squeaks, rattles, or odd noises. It glides over bumps. Heat works well, and the air conditioning blows ice cold. There are no leaks under the car, and it does not burn any fluids or anything like that. Mechanically it is great. The CD player works great, and so does the climate control, automatic headlights, power seats. It has a ton of excellent features that make this car very luxurious. The Brougham package adds extra padding on the seats, the carriage top, little fold-out vanity mirrors in the headliner for the rear passengers. The headlights come on automatically, the parking brake releases automatically. This is a really luxurious, safe, reliable car. The title is free and clear and in my mother’s name, so she will be signing it over to you. We live in Chicago, so if you want to fly in and drive it back I can pick you up at O’hare or Midway airport.
