The particular car was engineered by a Chrysler Product Designer. He took a dry rust free southern 914 and purchased one of the first "Desert Hybrid Conversion Kits". You can google them to read up on the technology. The cars design is remarkable. With the custom dual pass radiator and hard line plumbing, this car runs all day long at 195 F. There is so much torque that the Porsche 901 tranny is modified with tall gears. They also eliminate first gear and turn the 5 speed into a 4 speed. Car shifts perfectly and doesn't slip out of any gears. Car runs 2500 RPM @ 70 MPH. The engine is a 1971 Chevy 302 DZ that is punched out to 306 CI. And now runs a hydraulic roller instead of the solid cam. (236/236 duration @ .560 lift) this car roars @ 7000 RPM....:) Has a 1969 1174 Crank and 11:1 pistons......:) New HEI distributor, Edelbrock aluminum heads, Edelbrock aluminum intake and Edelbrock 500 CFM carb. No leaks or drips! Stainless Headers. Kennedy engineering adapter plate and clutch, stage 4, no slippage and easy on the foot. There are approximately 6000 miles on the motor. 380 RWHP !!!!! Some subtle design modes include the 916 front fascia, the additional chin with billet texture. The cut lines have all been redesigned smoothly at the notches and bumpers. The color scheme is simple....green/sliver/black. Interior is basically stock with some custom pieces like aluminum trim, gauges, shift knob etc...couple of small seam separations nothing major. Paint is monochromatic 2001 VW cyber green. Looks great. Couple of chips and bubbles, but you have to be up close to see them. Complete bottom of car is done in POR. Front suspension is upgraded from a 1982 911 SC. Has the through the body sway bar. Disc brakes on all fours. Rear has re drilled hubs and rotors, rebuilt calipers, emergency brake (functions). Wheels are Boxter S 17x7 all the way around. Tires are Pirelli P7 205-50/17. Brad Mayeur 914 chassis kit wheel to wheel. Exhaust with new Flowmaster 40 series Delta Flow mufflers. Killer sound outside, yet you can carry on a conversation inside. I have two tops....one green and one black......both are excellent. I'll also include a complete parts car in excellent shape. This car runs perfectly and is extremely fast. Handles like it's on rails and a blast to drive! Turn Key!
