This is my 1969 BMW 1600 in Florida green with black interior. I have owned the car for over 12 years and the second owner. I bought it from a friend who was a physician in the Dallas area and bought it here in TX new. So the car is very solid as it sits. In the last twelve years I have not driven it but only roughly 5k miles. in that time, I just replaced radiator, water pump, belts and oil changes etc. Recently in the anticipation of selling the car I bought many new parts from BMW and had them replaced. Parts like the rear window gaskets, front door gaskets, all suspension bushings, new turn signals, new front and rear windshield gaskets, new shock absorbers, newsubframe bushings, new transmission and engine mounts, new front and back shock tower mounts, new exhaust hangers, new rear tail lamp basels, new trim between the tail lights, new tail light gaskets, new valve cover gaskets, etc etc. Now, none of these parts needed to be replaced but not knowing their age, I just went ahead and replaced all these and many more that I can't think of. I have included pictures of some of the parts I ordered from BMW. The car runs really great. It is very quick and pretty much all stock. There is no funny smell, smoke or leaking gaskets anywhere. You can start the car in one crank and go. It moves with 4 speed manual transmission. The tires are good and so are the brakes. The car was painted to original Florida green color a few years ago and still shines and looks beautiful. Please keep in mind that this car is not a fully restored car and nor am I trying to represent it as such but it is a very solid 1600 that you can enjoy for many more years to come. I'm an individual and can't provide any kind of warranty. These are 40+year old car and is represented as such. They are very simple to work on and a joy to drive. I'm sure you can drive it back to Canada if you had to. I have driven this car to Chicago one time in fall of 2003 and have fond memories of people taking pictures with me everytime I stopped to refuel.
