Up for auction is a '73 Chevy Nova SS. This could be your next drag car. It was originally a 327 four speed. I bought it on Ebay 8 months ago and decided I have too many projects. Previous owner was set to part it out so a lot of parts are removed but included with the body, such as inner fenders, front bumper, brakes and clutch pedal assembly. Interior is mostly gutted. Floors and frame rails look good, typical rust on the body. Steering box is broken. Hatchback lifts well but lock is gone. Looks like a 3.08 non posi rear end. Dash is totally gone. Missing the motor, tranny, and driveshaft. I have a rear drivers side quarter panel left from another project that I will throw in. All glass looks good and in place. Chrome is basiclly all there. This car has no title, the previous owner swears he ran the numbers and came back o.k. I will sell it on a bill of sale only. You can have a bonded title made if you wish. Make no mistake that this is a real project, but has super potential. Please feel free to ask questions. I can store it for a while if needed. I can haul it a short way for a fee. On Sep-14-12 at 16:41:50 PDT, seller added the following information: I had a bidder ask about the condition of the hatchback. I have added some pics of rust damage that I really didn't notice before. The back window must have leaked over the years. Someone had coated the inside in areas with fiberglass and painted over the rust. It is pretty serious, but I would think it is repairable. The outer skin has some surface rust in the corners, but no holes. The glass and chrome are good. As a drag car I was going to fasten it shut anyway. He also asked about the rear bumper, it has a scratch/garf on the drivers side, might not show up in pics. Also, the car has both interior door panels in good shape with window cranks.
