This car has factory engine which is 307 2 bolt main, casting number 3970024. Engine starts right up and runs good, no smoking or knocks, does have a small minor lifte tick, but nothing major. Someone changed the distributor and put in an HEI. Transmission is a 350 turbo which seems good, and has no leaks. Rearend is a 10 bolt, ratio unknown, Car has 4 wheel manual drum brakes which are toast and barely stop the car. Interior is all there and most is useable, seat was recovered years ago, headliner is tight, dash uncut, no cracks, door panels will need replaced as they are wavy and loose at the bottom. All stainless is present on car and useable except for wheelhouse mouldings, top trim for tailgate is missing. All glass good, door glasses roll up and dwon good, doors open and close good. Frame rust is minimal, two palm sized places in fron of back wheels, simple repair for the most part.. This car would be perfect project for any Elcamino collector!!
