Vehicle Detail

NO RESERVE This truck is a Ford Model AA, in excellent show room condition, and named "Molly MaGee". Molly's engine was completely rebuilt by Goodwin Singer Inc. of St Petersburg Florida, ($3,792.00 parts and labor) with all new parts and required rebabbiting. Not included in engine rebuild costs: upgraded with a touring cam and 5.2 to 1 High Compression Head, and also a new 29AA radiator by "Brass Works". Molly has all new sheet metal with exception of the fire wall, cab, cab doors and gas tank, in which the interior was cleaned and sealed Molly has original color: Rock Moss Green, plus clear coat. All Black trim and body sheet metal is Powder Coated, as well as headlamp buckets and side mirrors, and the roof area which is fabricated from aluminum. Windshield frame, headlamp bar, wheel snap rings and hubcaps are Powder Coated to resemble nickel/cadmium plating. Molly is equiped with a spare wheel carrier (under rear of bed) which was fabricated like original from drawings supplied by "Ford Model AA" Club. Molly has a 1930 steering column with a 7 tooth sector and worm assembly. Molly has a new original style 3 spd transmission and shift tower from ; Mike's "A" FORD-ABLE Parts, a Model A Parts Vendor. Molly also has a "new" original style vacumn windshield wiper that works great. Electrical: Molly has a 60A alternator, sealed beam (hidden) headlights and cowl lights that are used as turn signal lights. Also an electronic ignition (hidden). Upholstery: Molly has grey vinyl upholstery that resemble 29-30 era. Soundproofing and insulation is provided everywhere under upholstery and flooring. The inner roof and side panels behind doors are also insulated and upholstered. The look is original. Upgrades to Molly MaGee: These upgrades were made to help Molly's efficiency; Touring Cam, Hi Compression Head, 6 blade cooling fan, electronic ignition, alternator, sealed beam lights (hidden) cowl lights (used in 30-31),Turn signals, dual taillights (accommodates turn signals), seat belts, Temperature Gage, Oil Pressure Gage, all Model A/Model AA style chrome trim was replaced with stainless steel, aluminum roof fabricated to resemble original, all steel sun visor to resemble original. All restoration information is recorded and documented. Molly is totally rebuilt with all new parts available, NOS or rebuilt parts/assemblies. Molly came out of Nebraska and went to Carson City, Nevada where she spent several years. I purchased her on EBay in mid 2008 and she was shipped via truck to my residence in SW Florida.. Restoration began immediately and was completed in January 2010. Restoration included 1680 man hours in a "body off" restoration. Actual documented costs for engine rebuild, materials, parts, upholstery, painting and powder coating, and original purchase price of Molly: $42,663.39 Molly relocated to Prescott Valley, Arizona in June 2011. Molly runs exceptionally well with little to no maintenance. Molly's engine looks original in all first appearances, with an original updraft Zenith2 Carburetor and "batwing" distributor and connections. I have driven Molly to many Car Shows in SW Florida, from Tampa to Naples. My longest trip was 85 miles. She is a true champion winning either "people’s choice" or "best of show" at every show she attended. She also enjoys parades, participating in several where the children love to hear her blow her Ahooga horn. She doesn't like the rain, so she never has been in it, even missing shows because of threatening weather. If you have the opportunity to meet Molly, you will fall in love with her as many spectators, judges and people on the street have. Molly's Trophy collection not incuded in sale. I'm selling Molly because of my financial situation and is a last resort, but I will not accept any bids lower than the starting price. This is a fantastic buy for anyone.
