This Lil Red Express has been in the family for almost 30 years. My dad picked it up in the early 80's for something that would be fun to have. He did use it to pull a small Airstream Trailer for awhile so the truck does have a custom Class IV trailer hitch under the rear bumper. I acquired the truck from my dad in 1994 and between the two of us it has never been used in a Connecticut winter. But its time to move on and the truck must go. The engine and transmission have been rebuilt and all of the wood has been replaced. The truck bed has a new white oak floor with polished stainless rails between the boards. The latest addition is the white oak side rails on each side of the bed. The exhaust system is all dodge from the mufflers back to the chrome tips. I had the exhaust pipes, from the exhaust manifolds to the mufflers, custom made a number of years ago. The bumpers and wheels are original to the truck and have some minor rust. The exterior is in nice shape except as follows: The inside of the truck bed and the tailgate have some scratches from typical use. The rear right lower rocker panel has some rust as shown in picture and both doors have two small screw holes in them where custom rear view mirrors were attached. The carpeting inside the cab is new and the dash is stock dodge except for an aftermarket tach on the right side and a temperature gage on the left that measures transmission oil temperature. It has a brand new set of Goodrich TA Radial tires and all of the rubber around the doors and windows are new.
