For bids is a 1926 Ford Model T Coupe. If you have been searching for a Model T Coupe to restore this is the one for you. The 4 cylinder engine runs. The standard transmission works. The differential works. The seat covers and top have been replaced. The car can be driven as is but would not recommend it until you have gone completly over everything. There is surface rust; but there is no place where it has rusted through. There are some places that indicate someone has done some work to the body in the past; mainly the drivers door. The wood appears to be in very good condition. The tires have a lot of tread but are weather checked. The overall condition would be considered fair. The car has been stored inside for the past 30 plus years. From its condition I would say it was sotred inside by the previous owner as well. It would be great to see this car restored to its origninal condition. This 1926 Ford Coupe would also make a great hot rod or rat rod if that is what you prefer. It has been brought to my attention that the running gear is either 1909 - 1925 timeframe or the car may have been a very early 1926 because of the drive train. The only thing I'm sure of is its titled 1926 and the body style is a 1926. The person that brought this to my attention states that the foot peddles are not for a 1926 transmission but for the 1909 through 1925 transmission. Those of you who are Model T experts will know what to look for and will bid accordingly. When vehicle is this old who knows how many times the drive train may have been changed?
