Vehicle Detail

A real 1972 Mach1 in great condition with a clean title, drive this beauty home today! The good: 5 year old, mile deep, burnt orange metallic paint job (same color as the newer Dodge Daytonas) Garage kept and rust free! Strong running, rebuilt 351c with headers and flowmasters. (drove over 1500 miles on the Hot Rod Power Tour with no problems.) New 17" Crager SS wheels, tires are about 60% (I'll include the old set of wheels and tires for you if you want them) Interior has new carpet, seats and grant wood grain steering wheel All new suspension including sensa-trac shocks, new leafs, bushings and coil springs (very smooth, comfortable ride for an old mustang) Lines and pan gasket recently replaced on transmission, shifts great, no leaks. New brake rotors, pads and shoes. The needs-work: Car still needs the headliner installed - I will include the bows and a custom, made to fit headliner to finish the job Speedometer, Tachometer fuel gauge and turn signals are not currently functioning. The car was re-wired after paint. The electrical to the ignition, engine compartment, lights (hi-lo beam and side lights), brake lights, and cd player all work perfectly, just haven't been able to get the tachometer and speedometer working. Air and Heat are not working. I have a new heater core that I will include as well as the original parts (plenum ect..) to put it back together. Parking brake is frozen open (not rubbing or otherwise affecting the brakes). There are nicks in the paint behind the passenger side window (see picture) from the tow home from the paint booth. (driver forgot to fasten the seatbelt down and it nicked up the paint). There are a few other minor nicks and scratches which are all pictured below. This car is a ton of fun to drive and gets a lot of attention wherever it goes. The paint is gorgeous and has always been waxed and well cared for. The engine runs strong and the exhaust sounds great. It's not perfect, but this car is very solid and driveable as it is, and could be a very nice Mach 1 with a little work. I hate to see it go, but I've got too much going on and need to downsize. (Don't be surprised if I try and buy it back from you someday though!) Thanks for looking and don't let this great classic pass you by! A $500 deposit through Paypal is required at end of auction . This is non refundable so please have your finances in order. Balance can be paid in cash at pickup, cashiers check or you can bank wire the balance, but must be done within 7 days after listing ends. This Mustang is sold as is where is and that means that there is not a warranty on this car, expressed or implied.
