Im selling my beloved 4Runner. I love this truck, but am cleaning house before a potential job relocation. I cant take everything with me, and I'll be damned if I'll sell my 1943 Willys Army jeep. Millenium Silver in color with slate/gray leather interior, 178700 miles, automatic, sunroof, Sport package with hood scoop and fender flares. Automatic shifts well, 4x4 works well. Engine runs great, no issues except a check engine light, which has not affected mileage or performance. Ive read a bunch on the CEL lights, and its common for them to come on around any mileage above 100,000. It doesnt always mean something is wrong, it can be a faulty sensor. In my case, Im guessing thats the case since mileage nor engine performance have not changed. Ive also read on many online forums that trying to fix this issue can cause other things to go wrong. Ive decided not to risk it. She runs great and Im not going to "fix what aint broke"..... This truck has had the timing belt and water pump professionally replaced by the dealer about 20,000 miles ago, so you are good to go for another 70k miles. Ive also replaced the tires, battery, plugs, and all fluids - flushed and replaced differentials, transmission, and coolant. Just gave it a fresh oil change with full synthetic. Ive bought it several years ago with 130000 miles, so Im the second owner. I hit a deer last fall, but only clipped its ass, and had minimal damage. I had the front bumper, grill, driver's side fender and hood repaired/replaced and repainted by a local body shop. The damage was a blessing because the original front bumper was looking the worse for wear due to rock chips, etc. I will sell the Yakima rack with the truck at the buy it now price, otherwise it will be removed prior to pickup. This is a mechanically sound truck, you wont have any problems with it. Cool AC, sunroof, power options, leather seats, a clean interior and stable road manners make this truck a great vehicle for anyone. Please email with questions.
