It's part of what I do. I buy cars in almost any condition, as long as the price is right. BENT BROKEN BURNT – I BUY THEM ALL. Most of the cars I get are sold for scrap. Some are parted out, then scrapped. Then some are like this, just too nice to part out or scrap. Previous owner stated that this car has a bad transmission. I made an offer & he accepted. When we towed it in, the car would run, but would not move in any gear. I added a few quarts of ATF & the car would now move forward & backwards. Upon further examination, we discovered that the transmission is leaking from what looks to be the front of the transmission. Looks like it is leaking between the back of the engine & the front of the transmission, possibly the torque converter seal? It is a pressurized leak, meaning that it leaks while the engine is running. The leak is quite bad, leaving a thin trail of fluid behind the car, as we drove it around the parking lot. We have not run the car, or driven it, for any length of time, for fear of doing additional damage. The transmission needs to be repaired, or replaced, before being driven. The car can not be driven & will need to be towed from my location. I tend to be overly critical & in the interest of full disclosure, the car has, but may not be limited to, the following issues: The car has wear & tear that you would expect from a 13/14 year old vehicle. The paint is scratched & chipped & the car has minor dings & dents. The interior is worn, the engine is grungy. The hood has had some kind of paint repair, there is rust on the drivers door & both outside mirrors are broken. Right headlight has a chip in it & the front tires are worn on the inside & outside edges (under inflated?).The engine seems to run fine, but there is an exhaust leak towards the front of the vehicle. I am sure that I have not covered everything. I only spent about an hour with the vehicle. I do not have a lift, so I can't be sure of anything underneath. Please look at the pictures & videos. I will attempt to answer any questions, to the best of my abilities. I strongly encourage anyone interested in this vehicle to take the time & come look at it yourself.
