It drives like a Porsche and is more fun than a go cart. This is the longer model, it got great reviews from everyone that has road tested it. You should Google this car and see all the good reviews. I moved to Texas in 2008 and decided to get my car dealer license because I love to buy and sell cars and motorcycles. It has always been more of a hobby than a business (thank god, or I would starve) I found this car in San Antonio and purchased it from an insurance company. There was no damage to the body or frame and no flood history. When I bought the car the turbo charger had been removed. The mechanic that removed it disassembled the front headlights and radiator to get to the turbo charger. I bought the car and took it straight to a local mechanic. He confirmed that it needed a new turbo charger so I purchased a new original turbo charger and had it installed. The compression is good and everything works as it should. I have driven the car over 100 miles in the past few days and it drives like new. It is unbelievable how much power it has. I do not know what would possess the insurance company to sell this car as a salvage vehicle when it only needed about $2,000 worth of parts and labor to purchase and install a new turbo charger. I have several pictures of the car from the day I purchased it and you can see that there is no damage. I will be happy to email copies of those on request. There are a couple of light scratches on the car, nothing that shows in the pictures and I would need to point them out to you. This is a great looking car. This car is awesome to drive! This car still has a salvage title but I will give you a “certificate of rebuild”. If you take the title and certificate of rebuild to the DMV they will issue you a new title that will be a standard title. Some states will put a note in the remark section that says “rebuilt” or “prior salvage” but the new title will allow you to get full coverage insurance and finance the vehicle if desired. You will be very happy with this car. It is solid, drives perfect and would rate in “excellent” shape. I have already had the state inspection done. I would drive this car across the country without any worries. (I have plenty of volunteers to drive it across country if you want it delivered) I took lots of pictures but I strongly suggest that you come to New Braunfels Texas and drive it. If you drive it, you will want it! If there were any way to justify keeping this car I would hang onto it, just not in my budget. My wife has fallen in love with it. You will save a bundle of money on this car! This car will sell to the high bidder regardless if that is $500 or $25,000. I really hope to get what this car is worth but I will trust the auction to bring whatever the market will pay. Whoever wins this bid will be very happy! I will be happy to help you arrange to get the car to your home as long as it has been paid for before it leaves my driveway. I would suggest that you fly into San Antonio or Austin and let me pick you up at the airport. You would enjoy the drive home and give you a chance to get to know your new car.
