You're looking at a one owner 1966 Ford Mustang convertible GT. "A" code drivetrain with factory 4 speed. This car was purchased new in Kansas City off the showroom floor at Paul's Ford by a gentleman for his wife. The orignal window sticker comes with the car. It has remained within 15 miles of the original selling dealership all its life. The Mustang was recently sold by the Estate Trustee (oldest son) for the orignal owners. The drivetrain is the original 289 V-8 4V and 4 speed top loader. The drivetrain is original, including the Ford 4V carb and is all numbers matching. The car has many great factory options as you can see from the pictures, including GT options, factory 4 speed, the full length console, power convertible top, black Pony interior, RallyPac, AM radio with 8 track, and original chrome GT wheels. It's had many items/parts replaced or rebuilt within the last year, including the front suspension, new tires, battery, new convertible top and new dual exhaust. This Mustang is unrestored and is in very original condition. It was repainted once in the 80's and had a small rust repair done to the lower corners of the rear fenderwells, otherwise it's never had any metal replaced excluding after a minor wreck about 30 years ago, both front fenders were replaced with used original GT fenders. There's no rust in shock towers, frame rails, trunk pan and the floors are almost rust free with a very small rust spot in the floorboard. The Mustang runs and drives great. The interior is in great condition and the convertible top works perfect. The exterior paint is 30 years old. It shows small chips and scratches around the car. All the glass is perfect and original. The drivetrain runs great and shifts perfect. I'm sure its been at least 10 years since any engine work has been done.
