I recently took this great old truck in trade from one of my customers. It started life as a grain truck so it only saw limited use that way, then for many years it was used to haul scraps of carpeting to the dump. That's the reason for the tow strap on the bumper. In muddy conditions they needed to get a tow up the slope leaving the dump. THIS OLD INTERNATIONAL WOULD MAKE A GREAT STAKEBED OR CAR HAULER! For years, whenever I looked at this truck I had visions of building a Gypsy wagon style camper on the back of it. As luck would have it, I had no more than made the deal for this truck with my friend when I sold the rental property with the garage I had intended to store it in. I recently acquired this great old IHC tilt cab truck from a person who has owned it for probably 20 years. I always admired it and when he told me he had just bought a new tilt trailer and didn't need it anymore I couldn't resist taking it in trade. I have never driven this truck but the former owner is a good friend and he tells me it drives decently and there is nothing wrong with it mechanically. It is still at the former owner's place in the Fargo/Moorhead area. I would not hesitate to drive it the 120 miles from there to my home. The body is nice and clean and straight, with no rust through anywhere. This truck has 14,862 original miles. Please do not assume anything.
