We have enjoyed it and maintained it well for the past 14 years. The CarFax Report indicates 3 owners for this vehicle because we retitled it once when we moved it from Tennessee to our Utah residence. (Copy of CarFax report available via email.) PLEASE NOTE: This summer the temperature gage started occasionally reaching the red zone. Our local shop, Mercer Automotive, diagnosed the problem as an early stage blown head gasket. Rather than pay for the repair required, I am selling the car “as is.” Exterior Condition Description: The convertible top on this car was replaced in 2003 and is in excellent condition. The paint, body panels, windows, and trim are all in very good condition. Interior Condition Description: No tears in leather seating. Door panels in very good condition. Driver’s seat side bolster shows some fading and wear (see photo). Passenger side plastic trim ring around speaker grille is cracked (see photo). Glove box door needs realigned (see photo). Passenger floor mat is missing one of its retainer rings (see photo). Header trim cover behind rear seats has small tear/puncture (again, see photo). Electro-Mechanical Systems: All power door locks, windows, and convertible top mechanism work well. Electrical Systems: Lights, on board computer, dash instruments, etc. all function well. Minor problem with indicator in dashboard computer erroneously reports “check engine coolant.”Tires & Wheels: Tires have approximately 35,000 miles on them. Wheels are in good shape. HVAC: Air conditioning refrigerant needs to be recharged. Possible condenser/line leak. Heater, blower, controls in very good condition. Radio & Sound System: The best in its day. 6-pack CD Changer. System still works well. Original owner’s manual, demonstration DC, all service documentation will be provided to the successful bidder.
