Vehicle Detail

Check out these videos. http://youtu.be/Z0-r3VdiiJY http://youtu.be/gvf3-T0dMsY This is a 1970 Chevrolet C-10 Custom half ton 2 wheel drive truck. The motor is a brand new (20 miles driven) 327 block with a 350 crank and rods etc. I bought the motor assembled from a builder. It was on a special motor stand so I could hear it run. It was completely rebuilt with a mild cam and it was never put in a vehicle until now. It has gear drive so it makes the gear drive noise when it is running. Sounds great and the cam gives it a nice rumble. The exhaust is true dual exhaust through factory manifolds and mufflers. It has a brand new clutch and flywheel and water pump and starter, battery and really too many parts to list. Look at the pictures. It was a "3 on the tree" 3 speed but I moved it to the floor. It is a Saginaw 3 speed manual. Shifts great. The interior is all freshly painted and new carpet and everything works. New dome light etc. Wipers, washer fluid, heater has new hoses and vents etc. The seat needs to be re-upholstered but has a great seat cover that is green and looks great. Seat is in good shape and has 3 seat belts for 3 people on the bench. It does not have a radio and that will be your decision. I would purchase a radio that has 2 knobs like the old style. They are readily available and have FM and plugs for your MP3 player and you can connect a CD changer and play CDs. If you "cut" the original dash you can put in any radio but I will leave that decision to you. The antennae connector is there and speaker wires etc. I am putting a new mirror on the door tomorrow and I have new door latches coming from LMC Truck and will put them in the door before it sells. All lights work. When you buy this you can come drive it home. I have a clear Indiana title in hand. As you can see, the body work is not perfect. It is all solid metal and rust free but I did not have the patience to sand and smooth all the small dents or scratches etc. The paint is new and the clear coat shines and will last a long time. I painted it myself in an barn. If the paint was perfect I would be asking over $12,000. It is 42 years old. It is hard to find any Chevy truck with no rust for under $10,000. It is VERY solid. The bed and cab were off and the frame was sanded and undercoated. All new body mounts etc. The frame and under-carriage is in great shape. You can stick a a magnet to this truck anywhere and the motor is brand new and runs great. Any questions please email me or come take a look and a test drive. It is not a "show" truck but it is very solid and from 30 feet looks like a show truck. If you want a perfect C-10 you will have to spend a lot more money than this truck. If you want a great truck for a great price this is for you.
