Great condition XR650L with a brand new battery (September--2012) and almost brand new tires (Less than 100 miles). I just had this bike serviced in the last 30 days. This bike is in excellent condition with only minor cosmetic flaws. I have done my best to show in the pictures anything that is not in excellent condition, but I encourage you to see the bike in person (Anderson, SC) prior to bidding. This bike also has a high-performance exhaust that sounds great and is very powerful! Mechanically, the bike is in like-new condition as far as I can tell. Feel free to have the bike inspected prior to bidding. Cosmetically, the bike is in great shape with only minor scratches on the plastic and one scratched area near the gear shifter. Also, the switch is scratched from inserting/removing the key. The paint/plastic color and seats are like/new color and look great. With only minor changes since this bike was built, you are bidding on almost the same bike that you can buy new in the Honda dealership for $6,690.00. I have owned this bike for 3-4 years and have replaced it with a newer KLR 650. The KLR offers better wind protection on the road, which is what I do most. Off road, there is no comparison in the dual-sport market that I have found to this Honda. If I were going to ride this on-road for more than 50 miles, I would want more wind protection. I will deliver within 300 miles of Anderson, SC for $1 per mile (one way) or you can pick it up locally. Also, I will assist in shipping (from my family business with loading dock), BUT the buyer is responsible for all shipping costs.
