Vehicle Detail
Here I have a 1950 International Harvestor Pickup with a Eldorado Camper, it came from an Estate I purchased a couple things from. This vehicle was always stored inside and shows it. The pickup has a straight 6 engine in it and manual transmisson. Truck runs and drives good, brakes work great as well. Its a pretty plain jane pickup, you didnt have alot of options back then. Does have a heater in it. Gauges seem to work ok. Spotlight on drivers side does not though. Very clean pickup no rust on it and interior is very nice and clean as well. The tires are older and weathered but should be alright yet. Truck has some scratchs in the paint though as you can see, I would wash it and buff it up. Truck has storage on both sides of the camper. The older gentleman that had this used it for fishing trips. As you can see on the inside of the camper it could sleep four but would be a little tight. You have the bunk up top and the table folds down. It is equipped with a toilet, shower, sink, stove, fridge and heater. It was last licensed in 1996. I do not know if everything inside the camper works but I would bet it would. Its just a very clean piece. All the glass in the truck and camper is good. The celiling of the camper is not sagging like some do etc, shows where it must of leaked one time a little. (see picture) I have sold vehicles on ebay in the past and try to describe them to the best of my ability, but please feel free to email me and I can send you my number to call or you can come look in person if you wish. This would be a neat vehicle if you collect IH tractors to drive to a show and camp out, or take fishing like previous owner did. Thanks for looking. On Sep-13-12 at 13:35:51 PDT, seller added the following information: ***Hello, lots of questions and am glad there is some intrest. Sorry for the confusion but I am in Wakefield Nebraska. 68784 Unsure of why the listing didnt have that in it, my other car was the same way. Also this pickup odometer says 30 thousand miles not 20 as listed. Of course I cant prove if its went over or not but Im sure by the way this truck looks its original miles. It would be rusty or rougher shape than this. Heck it even has the original rubber floor mat. This pickup is a dually and I will get the tire size posted tommrow. Also the rear deck does not move its stationary. It does have a fold down step on the side though. Someone asked about the side storage, the sides are held in with a pin and you just lift them open. Previous owner stored a extra gas can, fishing poles and various other items in there. Keep the questions coming, also I can store this for awhile if you want to have someone haul it to your destination etc. I will also assist if needed. thank you On Sep-15-12 at 08:55:36 PDT, seller added the following information: ****Rear Tire size is 7.00x16, they are older tires and show some weathering but are not ready to blow out by any means. On Sep-18-12 at 10:13:36 PDT, seller added the following information: ****I have had some more questions on the length of the truck and camper and also the interior. The truck measures 85" wide, 19'9" long with out the deck and add 30 inches for the deck. Max gross weight is 6800 pounds even though I would guess this is under that. I cant see the camper weighing over 1,400 pounds with everythng in it. Truck is maybe 4,000? I could drive it over a scale if needed so a shipper has a good idea. I probably wont have time though before this ends. The inside of the camper is nice for its age but please know that the mattress are not new pillow tops etc. The curtains are faded and table cushions are dated but not torn up etc. Its an older camper but at the same time very good for the age. Also some have asked about the pickup box, thepickup box tailgate was cut as you can see in the one photo i believe. It is a rare box because it has the factory storage doors on the sides. Looking at it I think it could be restored if someone took a good tailgate and back half of a regular IH box. The rare part is there(storage doors), so the back part would be body work. The truck has met the reserve, I will have the truck ready to go but I will be gone the later part of this week. Thanks again and if anyone has other questions feel free to call me at 402-369-2497 as I may not be around the computer to answer questions quickly enough before this ends tommrow.
