Vehicle Detail

I bought this car from the 2nd owner in 2005. He was a friend of mine, whom I helped pick out the car, when he bought it. I bought the car from him with the intention of converting it to total electric . . . . that project never materialized, and so here I am selling the car, years later. The engine runs well, and passes the strict AZ emissions test each year The transmission works well, and shifts easily; syncros are in good shape, I'll show you how you can test them when you look at the car! Take a flash back to the 80's with this ride . . . it was an engineering marvel, and it corners like a Lotus! Tires are in good shape, and have seen little wear. They are a special model Bridgestone Potenze RE92, which was used on EV1, for their low rolling resistance. I chose these for when it was going to be electric! Car has not been converted at all, so it is 100% intact as a gasoline car; I have fixed many, many things along the way! The paint has issues, I won't fool you, I had issues with it when I painted it 2007. There are runs in the paint; White is difficult to paint (glare!). I used the best, including Epoxy Primer, and 2-Stage Poly-Urethane base/Clear The interior is pretty much intact, and the seats as well, but they have some tearing, due to the age of the original seat cloth. I do have some extra OEM seat covers, that may be in better shape (same color). Most accessories work! Headlights are finicky; I did rebuild the gears in them. Car includes Factory Workshop Manual, a $100+ item in itself I have all of my receipts, and I have spent a lot of time getting this car road-worthy. I have driven it about 7k miles during the time that I have had the car, spending some time enjoying the amazing handling, and a true American Sports Car! I converted the A/C to R-134 about 4 years ago. It worked well thereafter, but it has not been used in about 2 years, and needs service. The A/C Compressor was replaced at that time. If you have ANY QUESTION, contact me ASAP, before bidding. All sales are final, and there is no warranty on the car; it is being sold in good faith, AS-IS. A $500 Non-Refundable Deposit is required at the close of the sale, prior to picking up the car. You are responsible for transporting the car to it's final destination, and for arranging any shipping that might be required. Please . . . do not make an offer on the car unless you are seriously interested in buying it! Payment must be made in full upon picking up the car. I have the title, it is "Free & Clear". I am the owner. I will not trade the car for another item, or take payments towards the car, I am sorry.
