Vehicle Detail
$4000 OBO for car complete and running WILL TAKE $1500 FOR THE CAR MINUS DRIVETRAIN (NO MOTOR OR TRANS) clear title in my name 1940 Pontiac Deluxe the good stuff: 350 Small Block Chevy V8 Edelbrock Intake & Carb 400(? not entirely sure) trans out of a truck, new custom driveshift 74 nova front sub frame and rear axle new calipers pads and rotors a few years back drums were turned a few years back, new hardware and shoes some of the front end was rebuilt piece meal here and there pitman arm steering box replaced within five years air shocks in the back (the air input fitting is kinda wonky and leaks, needs to be replaced ) drag race fuel cell in the trunk digital gauges (fuel gauge is kind of all over the place, the rest seem accurate) dual exhaust out the back with straight thru side dumps (cable is rusted in the open straight thru position though) shaved door handles 6 inch chop suicide doors headlights, taillights, turn signals and brake lights are all operational starts consistently, runs and drives but needs a tune up big time, its a true rat rod not a wannabe. check out youtube video above of car running on 9/11/2012 here: bad stuff: wiring harness lit up because someone wired the fuse panel wrong. cut out the panel and all the bad wires and put it all back together (backyard style mind you with electrical tape and connectors) power booster doesnt work missing some choke and throttle linkage on the carb, but rigged up to kinda work (all edelbrock) needs an alignment needs wipers and linkage lots of bondo on the rear quarter panels no door structures, no handles no windows plastic garbage bags have been taped over the doors to prevent rain from getting in since there are no windows (you can see the bags in the pics) will need to be towed or trailered
