Hi BEETLE LOVERS!! . I am selling my 1971 Volkswagen Classic beetle with only 16,255 miles (this is what shows as seen on pics). This classic beetle has a clean title and 2x classic BLUE CALIFORNIA PLATES. This is a real California car and people love it everywhere I go. It is a real head turner and I get so many compliments every time I go to the gas station and at red lights. The previous owner and myself have spent around $6000+ to upgrade this car and make it a real eye catcher. It starts every time and runs great. Tires are in great shape and the car has been lowered to give that California beach style look. Everything works as it should on it and there are no no known issues. Please do remember that this car is more than 41 years old and has the usual wear and tear as a car should for its age including some bubbling of the new paint and some minimal loss of paint as seen in pics. Tires are all in good condition with good thread. For all So-Cal buyers, I will refer you to a my great VW Beetle mechanic and part guy if needed. If not, parts can be found very cheap locally or online. It has many upgrades as mentioned including the main following: -1835 engine (I have been told that the engine has 16000 miles on it only) -8 spoke EMPI wheels sprayed black with aluminum as seen on pics -upgraded bypass cooling system with oil filter -disc brake conversion in the front -new grey floor mats -4Tip GT Exhaust system -fire extinguisher -a lot of chrome, etc. This classic is located in Encino, CA and all DMV fees have been paid for including the registration for the next year 2013. The title is on my name and there are no tickets or any other costs owed to the DMV. This beetle is also SMOG EXEMPT. You will not have to worry about any smog checks ever!! Car is sold AS-IS, WHERE-IS but I will be more than happy to assist with any car pickups scheduled by the new owner.
